Family Field Trip

During Thanksgiving break we had the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon field trip to the lock and dam and a trip through the Christmas light display with my parents. When we arrived a barge was just getting ready to lock through. Although this field trip was a little less exciting for the kids than the adults because it takes quite a while for a barge to go through in two separate sections- it was an experience for all.
